You will demonstrate exceptional knowledge of IT to deliver quality work that will drive excellent customer satisfaction, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team. You should be updated with the latest industry technologies and services, highly motivated, and embrace a collaborative mindset.
As a Senior Service Desk Infrastructure Engineer the successful candidate’s main duties will include:
- Providing 2nd - 3rd Line Support
- Delivering IT infrastructure projects
- Assisting with customer’s connectivity
- Supporting customer’s Firewall
- Ensuring customers' IT infrastructure is appropriately maintained, secure and fit for purpose
- Troubleshoot to resolve issues related to hardware and software
- Monitor networks
- Escalate when necessary
About You:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience providing IT Support on a similar level.
- Experience troubleshooting to resolve issue.
- Experience working with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Windows 10
- Experience working with and supporting Office 365
- Experience working with Azure
- Solid VMWare vSphere experience
- Knowledge of networking technologies- LAN/WAN/TCP/IP/DHCP
- Active Directory experience
- Driving licence
The following would be desirable:
- VMWare VCP certified
- Microsoft MSCE certified
- Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop
- Citrix Netscaler & Citrix PVS
- ITIL Knowledge/Certification
- VDI solutions Your Background / Previous Roles May Include: Windows Systems Engineer, NOC Engineer, Windows Datacentre Engineer, Windows Hosting Engineer, Data Centre Server Installation Engineer, NOC / Data Centre IT Engineer, LaaS Engineer, Hosting Engineer, Systems Infrastructure, Hosting Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, 2nd/3rd Line Helpdesk Engineer, IT Engineer.
** The successful engineer will have to pass SC clearance**
